Learning about the weather is more critical for travelers than they may think—it is as crucial, if not more so, than hotel booking details, airfare value, packing and tourist attractions. Let’s face it—no matter how amazing that beach is, if your day is rained out, there’s no point in visiting.
Weather Philippines #WOTD Event at Anvaya Cove
Hence the need to pay attention to your #WOTD: Weather for Travel and Adventure. The Philippines needs to utilize weather information, not just to prepare for disasters, but on a daily basis for strengthening key programs in tourism, agriculture, business continuity, and sustainable development.

When we aren’t accurately informed, there is a tendency to overprepare and underprepare, both with their own costs to business operations and personal plans. Think of all the times you’ve had to put off dinner with your friends due to a signal warning, only to see a perfectly clear sky! A lack of weather information prevents us from making appropriate decisions and actions, and it affects both work and lifestyle.
