Free Pokemon GO Philippines Access to Smart Subscribers as the Game Enters PH
It’s hard to resist the Pokemon GO wave as it hits the Philippines and becomes available to millions of smart phone owners in the archipelago. With a large percentage of the population growing up at a time when the original Pokemon series was being aired, Smart really knows its market as it offers free access to Pokemon GO for its subscribers.

Released on July 6 in just a few selected markets, this location-based game is currently available in 30 countries, including USA, New Zealand, Japan, and Australia.

Smart Mobile’s Business Head Kathy Carag reveals more treats and promos available to their subscribers once Pokemon GO becomes available nationwide.
“Smart is one with the whole nation in waiting for Pokemon GO to finally go live in the Philippines, and we are very excited to welcome the game in our own big way,” says Carag.
As early as now, would-be Pokemon trainers are informed of the availability of in-app purchases through the Smart Network. Using their mobiles, players can quickly purchase Poke Coins and simply have the amount added to their postpaid barring the need for credit cards. As for prepaid subscribers, the amount will be deducted from their current balance.
So When Will Pokemon GO Philippines App be Available?
Original reports say that Pokemon GO Philippines would be available in the last week of July – which is obviously not the case. There’s no specific time announced yet but if there is, you can be sure that the release will be broadcasted all over social media. What to keep in mind though is that the seven days of FREE play will commence on the launch date with no necessary registration beforehand. This means that once you’ve got the great news that Pokemon GO is available in the country, you can go directly to the app and start polishing your trainer gear.
