Hoy! Panga Boracay Review
Filipino restaurants are on the rise in Boracay with the continuous arrival of tourists all-year-round.
One can find food places serving Filipino cuisine, be it ready-made, fastfood or cooked upon request, in every nook and cranny of the island.
Traditional yet different in some ways, many of them are found on White Beach; like Hoy! Panga Boracay, a restaurant serving traditional Filipino dishes, specializing in chunky fish grills that’s borne from the country’s southern city of Davao.

Another dish that Hoy! Panga boasts is the Hawaiian-inspired Poke, a nutritious treat of raw Tuna, rice, vegies and ripe mango in one sumptuous bowl.
Good nutrition, a theme emanating in most of Hoy! Panga’s items, is heartily presented in Smoothie Bowls, which comes with fruits, nuts, granola and other super ingredients, enhanced with varieties of Mixed Berry, fresh Greens with tropical fruits, Mango, Strawberry Banana, and Chocolate.
Hoy! Panga also serves such super ingredients in raw food beverages, in the name of Superfresh Juices, which is concocted with of cold-pressed fruits and power veggies like spinach, ginger, turmeric, carrots and beet.
Other specialty beverages of Hoy! Panga are their Fresh Fruit Smoothies and Happy Hour drinks from 4 to 8 pm.
While breakfast food never fails to bring delight to diners, especially to those waking up late from partying the night before, Hoy! Panga’s All Day Big Breakfast treats should give them a needed boost. Dishes that proves tantalizing as a first meal for the day are 3-Piece Pancakes, the rich chocolate porridge of Champorado topped with danggit or salted fish flakes, Fruit and Yogurt Parfait, and Super Breakfast Bowl with yogurt, granola, chia seeds.
For quick bites that are great eaten during island hopping tours or Paraw Sailing are Hoy! Panga’s Sandwiches like Grilled Cheese Pancake Sandwich, Eggs Benedict Sandwich, Liempo Sandwich of grilled pork belly in Pan de Sal, and Crispy Tuna Sisig Pan de Sal.
As a sweet ender to a delicious Filipino experience, there is the Cassava Cake made with coconut milk in creamy custard and Frozen Leche Flan, a local crème caramel that leaves a memorable taste to the palate.
