THAI Airways Soars Highest at Skytrax Airline Awards 2017
It’s not at all surprising that Thai Airways is a proud recipient of, not one, not two, but three prestigious awards at the 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards Ceremony. Not an easy feat considering that the Skytrax World Airline Awards is touted to be “the Oscars of the airline industry.”
This great news was shared by Mrs. Usanee Sangsingkeo, THAI Acting President. These latest achievements – the World’s Best Economy Class, World’s Best Airline Lounge Spa, and Best Economy Class Onboard Catering – are testaments to another banner year for the airline in view of advancements in product and service development. Travelling on economy class has never been this fulfilling.
After all, imagine the best treats an airline has to offer while on economy class – but with no expense spared.
For the third consecutive year, THAI has also been awarded World’s Best Airline Lounge Spa. A welcome setting for travelers on lay-overs from many long-haul flights, it provides a respite from the hustle and bustle of travel. Sounds amazing, doesn’t it?
One can imagine the influx of travelers from different locales and headed to different destinations. An airport lounge that meets world standards is exactly what travelers need.
Furthermore, the airline received recognition for two other categories: one of three airlines with the World’s Best Airport Services 2017, and one of three airlines with the Best Economy Class Airline Seats.
On the ground and up in the air, everyone who flies THAI is satisfied. Do you know how economy seating usually means cramped space and unsavory meals? THAI has proven that economy travel need not be uncomfortable and oh-so undesirable.
The airline continues to improve and show excellence with their products and services. The company and its employees are committed and hard at work to ensure that each passenger enjoy the warm Thai hospitality on board. Products and services are offered for the utmost comfort and convenience of the passengers.
With all the cool things THAI is doing for all travelers, we can hope other airlines will follow in their footsteps.
