Gypsea Shack Bar and Restaurant
Holidays in Boracay are best experienced around locals who know how to give a great time. One cool place to find them is at Gypsea Shack Bar and Restaurant.

The new home of Boracay’s famous Full Moon Parties, Gypsea Shack Bar and Restaurant stands as the Island’s hippest hangout for dining, cocktails and nightly fests.

It draws in passersby with its total island-style façade, which thus reveals a grand bamboo hut, aligned in scaling terraces that opens up to the refreshing breeze and mystical skyline.
Inside this ingenious bamboo architecture of Gypsea Shack are wide lounge areas and private nooks for the discerning pleasure of its guests. There are low lounge tables for chilling-out, chairs and tables for conventional dining and cabanas for a more intimate lounging.

Matching the exceptional setting of Gypsea Shack is the food, which is followed through with the flavourful Southeast Asian gastronomy that has been created by the talented chef Peter whose list of delicious creations encompass not only Boracay, but also some countries in Asia and recently in Siargao.

Must try dishes are Sinigang – Filipino tamarind stew, Deep-fried Calamari in sweet bulgogi sauce and toasted sesame seeds, Moo NamTok –Thai-style spicy pork and veggie Salad, Mango Dilis — a hearty dish of mixed vegies, peanuts, salted fish and raw mango strips, Gochujang- Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Satay Pizza, Crispy Bicol Express plus a big serving of Egg Fried Rice, Cheesy Baked Scallops, and a warming bowl of Beef Buffalo.

While the food brings joy to the senses, Gyspea Shack’s events surely enhances it with everyone invited to jam with Gypsea’s resident musicians Jack and the Gypseas at the Rockeoke Night on Wednesdays, free cocktails on Thursday Ladies Night from 9-11pm, all-requests-guaranteed on Everybody’s A DJ, hosted by The Blindside on Fridays, and Unwind at the Shack for the Sunday Backyard BBQ from 4pm onwards.

As a full-fledged local’s hang-out, Gypsea Shack is tied with a few resorts to which they give discounts to in-house guests, like MNL Beach Hostel Boracay and Second Wind Hostel.
Overall, Gypsea Shack Bar and Restaurant is one definitive place in Boracay to go to for food, festivities, cocktails and relaxation.
