Food Parks in Cebu You Shouldn’t Miss Out
Table of Contents
Cebu is not just known for its many local and international fine dining restaurants. If you are in the area and are looking for a more affordable way to dine without sacrificing quality and flavor, you should definitely check out these food parks in Metro Cebu.
Sugbo Mercado

Sugbo Mercado was once just a weekend food market in Cebu IT Park, one of the most concentrated places for IT professionals and call center workers. It has been quite a success in the past year and, as such, has become a permanent and prominent attraction in the area. It has also expanded its reach through the opening of the Sugbo Mercado Dos, located at the Cebu Business Park.
Tinda Locale

Tinda Locale is a fairly new lifestyle market at the Greenery in Mabolo. This weekend night market offers several local food brands including Nona’s Barbecue, Hikay, Serenitea, Mix Madness and Gatchalian’s. But beyond the food, this event also encourages people to go, appreciate, buy and support local products including beauty products, plants, clothing and so many others.
Foodish Food Park

Foodish Food Event started out as a Christmas food bazaar back in 2015, to showcase unique food innovations from aspiring young entrepreneurs and food enthusiasts. Much has changed in the past few months and what was once an event has turned into a more permanent fixture, nightly, at the Parkway Food Strip.
Parkway Food Strip

When the Foodish Food Park is not happening, the Parkway Food Strip goes on normally, just like a regular food park. They are basically the same though and still offer great food at very affordable prices. Most fitting because it mostly caters to the students from the nearby Velez College.
Harrison Food Park

This is perhaps the oldest running food park in the metro but it is quite different in that the food offered there is solely served by Harrison. However, aside from its original location along Osmeña Boulevard, it has also expanded in the Mandaue area with a location at the back of the Parkmall. They still offer the same ambiance and food choices including grilled and sizzling food and, of course, beer.
Larsian

Perhaps the most famous food park in Metro Cebu is Larsian, which is famous for its delicious barbecue. The entire place is lined with a number of stalls around the perimeter with numerous tables in front. They basically offer the same flavor so the only way to go…is to eat at the first store that invites you.
If you happen to visit Cebu, don’t forget to visit these places. You will not only get to taste the true local Cebuano food (hanging rice is a staple in your meal) but you also get to check up and coming flavors in the metro. See you around!
