Alta Vista De Boracay Review
Close to Puka Beach and Balinghai Beach is a hotel where I spent my post Christmas trip to Boracay. I have stayed in almost 15 hotels and resorts in the Island and so far Alta Vista De Boracay (hotel info) is the most quiet resort I’ve stayed in. There are more than a few hotels that I could and do recommend on a regular basis and Alta Vista De Boracay Hotel is definitely one of them. Honestly speaking, it’s actually pretty hard to find a bad hotel on Boracay or I was just lucky:). With all of that being said, the hotel I started to tell you about is a nice find and at the moment it is my favorite recommendation.
Alta Vista de Boracay Resort
The Alta Vista de Boracay (hotel reviews) is a full service, relaxing, and perfectly located hotel for those who are coming to Boracay for just a short getaway or who aren’t planning on staying for too long. The rooms are designed to keep you inside in my own opinion. Lol, what I mean by that isn’t that the rooms have locks on the outside but instead that they have all of the comfort and amenities that make a hotel room worth staying inside.
Inside the Room
Big flat screen television with a responsive remote and no shortage of channels to surf. A posturepedic bed with high thread-count sheets and a big fluffy comforter, great views of the greener side of Boracay, room service, a kitchenette for self caterings, and a clean and comfortable bathroom with as much hot water as I you can use. See what I mean? Add to that the balconies and the fully stocked mini-bar and you might start to see why I am recommending this place.
View from my balcony
That’s not it though and really, I recommend that you get outside since there are free hourly shuttles to D’Mall and Cagban Port, fresh breakfast served on the gorgeous alfresco setting, and a pool that is a real joy to swim in. Now, I know you might be saying…but didn’t you want to swim at White Beach or Puka Beach..? Of course, but the truth is I personally love swimming in freshwater and since everyone else was at the beaches, I had the awesome infinity pool all to myself during my third day in the resort since I woke up too early and got nothing to do before I had my breakfast.
When I finally got myself to leave the grounds I headed out for a round of walking in the D’Mall area and then returned to the hotel for a short nap. I stayed at the resort for two nights courtesy of FOX International and Selecta Gold Series to attend their “Cool Decadence : An Epic Boracay Indulgence” event at the white beach area but looking at their rates online, staying at the resort is pretty much affordable compared to other resorts of the same caliber.
Overall, I wish I could have stayed longer, but when I did have to go I was easily able to book an airport shuttle from my room and that way I could enjoy everything the room had to offer up until the very last minute.
