AirAsia, on Thursday, shares their newest Santan menu, alongside with T&Co, their inflight brand for snacks and beverages, which include hot meals, kid-friendly meals, savory snacks, healthier selections such as wraps, local desserts, and artisanal beverages.

The launch was held at Bohol’s boutique resort, Amorita alongside with select travel and food bloggers. It was a very enjoyable moment as we get to enjoy the sundown and the view of the serene Alona beach, as the actual AirAsia flight attendants served the food.

AirAsia has embarked on a mission of sustainability –– elevating farm-to-table social movement to a dining experience with the help of renowned Thai Chef Hong Thaimee. Along with that, is the launching of their INSPI(RED) burger to help end HIV/AIDS.
And here are the dishes you should check out on your next flight with AirAsia:

INSPI(RED) BURGER

Promotional price: PHP140, comes with a complimentary drink
Who doesn’t love a burger? But a red burger? Now that’s more interesting!
With this latest offering, is that you just don’t get to satisfy your hunger pangs, but for every INSPI(RED) Burger sold, 10% of sales will go to the Global Fund to support HIV/AIDS testing, counseling, treatment and prevention programs in the Asean region.

The burger is created by New York-based (RED) Chef Ambassador Hong Thaimee. Hailing from Chiangmai, Thailand, he incorporated a concept of his Northern Thai roots and an East-meets-West experience. It consists of a chicken patty infused with fish sauce, kaffir lime leaves and lemongrass, topped with zesty Nam prik noom mayo (green chili mayonnaise), shredded purple cabbage and tomato on a red beetroot bun. (RED) Chef Ambassador Hong Thaimee shares that he wanted to combine the best of both worlds – Thai flavors and the classic all-American burger – to make a meal that would be easy for airline passengers to enjoy.
“Since I started my culinary journey, it’s been my mission and passion to bring Thai food to a wider audience, and it’s exciting to think that I can introduce the flavors of my hometown of Chiang Mai to the 8 million guests who fly with AirAsia monthly,” he added.
