This Nutella Cafe in Chicago Is The Dream Of Nutella Lovers
Ferrero, the company that manufactures Nutella, has confirmed that it will be opening the very first Nutella café in Chicago at the end of the month. The café is the latest expansion effort of the brand, famous for the chocolate-hazelnut spread of the same name.

The food that will be offered in the Chicago Cafe will mostly be made from Nutella products including pancakes, crepes, yogurt parfaits, oatmeal, and gelato. Apart from the Nutella-inspired menu, the café will also be serving meals that do not involve any Nutella products. This is unlike the Nutella counters found in Eaterys found in both Chicago and New York City.

These menu items, however, share a common origin: Italy. A few example of the inclusions in the non-Nutella inspired menu include gruyere panini, speck ham as well as a wide range of salads. An espresso menu is also offered for customers, which also includes usual orders like hot mocha, coffee or chocolate.
It is said that the establishment’s structure and design was made especially to please Nutella lovers. Angela Baird, who acts as the director of operation of the design consultancy firm BIG Retail, says that the café will be symbolic of Nutella’s entire brand.
“It’s designed to make you feel like you’re actually walking into a jar of Nutella,” she said. “Everything screams ‘Nutella.’”

Where is it located?
The Nutella Café has been strategically placed in the high-traffic corner of Michigan Avenue and Lake Street to take advantage of the foot traffic of tourists as well as locals.
When will it open?
The Nutella Cafe will officially open on May 31 inside Chicago’s Millenium Park Plaza. According to Eater, “special surprises” will be given for the first 400 fans that will be able to get in line for the store at 10 am on opening day. So, if you wish to get the first dibs of what the Nutella Cafe has to offer, you better mark your calendar, gear up, and head on over to this place on that day.
In any case, this café is definitely good news to a lot of Nutella lovers out there.
