Kythe and IHOP on National Pancake Day 2017: #PancakesWithAPurpose!
For the third time, IHOP, together with Kythe Foundation, kicked off National Pancake Day 2017 on the 28th of February 2017. The kick-off was held at the IHOP Restaurant in BGC. It was an intimate event hosted by IHOP, along with the CEO of Global Restaurant Concepts, Archie Rodriguez.

Last year’s National Pancake Day raised Php 400,000. This year, IHOP and Kythe hope to raise Php 500,000 to aid volunteers in giving joy and happiness to children diagnosed with cancer.
National Pancake Day begins on the 7th of March in all branches of IHOP across Metro Manila. To participate, customers must order the unlimited buttermilk pancakes for Php 250. Php 200 of the proceeds will go to Kythe Foundation, a non-stock, non-profit, and non-government organisation which started in Ateneo de Manila University in 1992. This year, Kythe Foundation announced that the event coincides with their 25th anniversary of providing psychosocial initiatives to children diagnosed with cancer.
Customers are encouraged to share their National Pancake Day experience on social media. Hashtags for the event are: #spreadhappiness, #IHOPNationalPancakeDay2017, #NPD2017, and #pancakeswithapurpose.
