foodpanda Brings Communities Together Through ‘Let’s Do Our PAU-rt’ for World Food Month

Through collaborations with national and local government agencies, non-government organizations, academic institutions, and local enterprises, foodpanda is extending its community efforts beyond food delivery. The initiative brings together partners in Metro Manila, Tuguegarao, and Cebu to provide food assistance, create livelihood opportunities, and promote food rescue programs.
The campaign supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2: Zero Hunger and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Food Assistance for Vulnerable Communities
As part of its Donor for the Day activities, foodpanda partnered with Walang Gutom Kitchen in Pasay and Cebu to help individuals experiencing homelessness.
The company also collaborated with Scholars of Sustenance Philippines and the Quezon City Social Services Development Department through kitchen volunteering activities. These efforts helped distribute ready-to-eat meals to foodpanda delivery partners and child development centers in Quezon City.

Other community programs included food voucher assistance for persons deprived of liberty at BJMP Makati City Jail and support for the University of St. Louis’s Hapag-Pag-Asa Program in Tuguegarao City.
These initiatives demonstrate how partnerships can help extend food assistance to communities and individuals who need additional support.

Supporting Local Cooperatives and Businesses
Beyond food assistance, foodpanda is also working to strengthen local enterprises and promote livelihood opportunities.
Through pandamarket, the company partnered with the Taguig Kakanin Cooperative, Simbayanan ni Maria Multi-purpose Cooperative, and the Department of Trade and Industry – National Capital Region (DTI NCR).
The collaboration aims to help local cooperatives and merchants reach more customers while supporting community-based businesses.
By connecting local enterprises with digital platforms, initiatives like pandamarket can help strengthen livelihoods and contribute to more inclusive economic development.

Building Stronger Communities Through Partnerships
“At foodpanda, we believe that making life delicious goes beyond delivering food—it also means helping make food more accessible to communities that need it most,” said Leopoldo De Castro Jr., Finance Director at foodpanda Philippines.
Through “Let’s Do Our PAU-rt,” the company continues to work with partners to support vulnerable communities, strengthen local livelihoods, and contribute to initiatives addressing food insecurity.
The campaign reinforces foodpanda’s commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond World Food Month, highlighting the importance of collaboration in building more resilient communities.
Through food assistance, livelihood initiatives, and community partnerships, foodpanda continues to bring its “Making Life Delicious” commitment to communities across the Philippines.
