Mysel and her husband were very accommodating throughout our stay there. Whenever we need anything, they provide it to us. The amenities and rooms are squeaky clean, we can give it a 5 out of a 5 rating. Highly recommended for people who like nature and a bit of adventure. The path to the upper viewing deck is safe enough to go to for older guests who still want to see the falls. Guests should still be careful in going down the stairs as the path might be slippery when it rains. Enjoy the forest sounds and have a bonfire at night. You can already hear the river from the room. They have a grill & a stove so you can cook as you need to. The trek to the falls is definitely the highlight of the trip. The road to the place might be a bit of a challenge for some drivers. It is also slippery when it rains. You have been warned. Take the road to the left at the last fork. The one to the right is very steep and leads to the river. I think there is no turning back if you accidentally take that wrong turn. Mark & Angeli frequently communicated with us to make sure that we arrived safely. The caretakers are very accommodating. Do note that this is not a hotel so you need to clean up after yourself. Keep nature clean and make sure not to forget the insect repellent. — Carlo Miguel

The villa is much more spacious than what the pictures show and very clean. 🙂 And the house structure and amenities and interiors deserve 5 stars. We enjoyed the 3 activity areas – great for bonding, great for doing solo time with your gadgets too – there’s an electrical outlet in every corner. My family, children 9yo and toddler included, took pleasure in the pool sunbathing, doing mini laps, or just splashing around. The pool is clean; the water warms any time of the day. The view of the sunrise of Mt Makiling is spectacular from the second-floor veranda around bedrooms 1 and 2. Preparing meals is so convenient with the long counters, the big working kitchen, and the grill area. I also appreciate that the caretaker is just a buzzer away. To close off this list, we have a real banger Airbnb. It is a whole villa that is very spacious and sleeps 16 people. The design is neat and elegant, incorporating Balinese elements found especially in the pattern motifs and furniture.
