#ToIDwithLove Fund Drive of AirAsia Begins Today
People around the world will never forget what Palu, Indonesia had to go through this year when the city was devastated by a depressing 7.5 earthquake and 5-meter high tsunami. The calamity happened only last September 28. The catastrophe inspired AirAsia to launch a relief fund aim to give support to Palu and its people so that they can rise from what happened. The #ToIDwithLove campaign starts today October 13, 2018, and collecting for the donations also starts today and ends on October 31.

All the donations received will be passed through YayasanArkom Indonesia. The donations will be used for the construction of new homes for the victims and to make Palu’s resistance to disasters better.
AirAsia Group CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said that Indonesia went through difficult times this year when it suffered two disasters and that they wish that Palu can recover from the losses and its people can have a positive look in life again. The donations received will help the city rebuild and look forward to a better future. They accept any amount of money from everyone.
AirAsia begins its onboard cash collections with AirAsia Malaysia (Code AK), AirAsia Thailand (FD), AirAsia Indonesia (QZ), AirAsia Malaysia (D7), AirAsia X Thailand (XJ) and AirAsia X Indonesia (XT) flights joining the collections of funds while more AirAsia airline groups following. The campaign happens today until the end of the month. The fund received will be doubled by AirAsia and they will announce it on January 2019. This fund drive by AirAsia is the airline’s way of giving back and helping out people in need.
