The event followed earlier CRAVE gatherings in Cebu and Davao, giving foodpanda an opportunity to connect with merchants from different regions and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the country’s digital economy.
Helping Philippine MSMEs Navigate a Changing Market
For many micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), rising operating costs, changing customer expectations, and the need to adopt digital tools continue to shape day-to-day business decisions.
During the Manila summit, representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry’s E-Commerce Bureau emphasized the importance of digital skills and access to online markets. These tools can help MSMEs reach more customers, improve their operations, and compete in an increasingly digital marketplace.
Foodpanda Commercial Director Prateek Teotia said the platform aims to support merchants at different stages of their business journey.
“Growth looks different for every business, and our goal is to help our merchant partners grow with foodpanda at every stage,” Teotia said.
He added that technology, business insights, market access, and stronger partnerships can give merchants more opportunities to expand their customer base, improve operations, and prepare for future growth.

Beyond Food Delivery: Tools for Business Growth
Foodpanda’s support for merchants extends beyond connecting customers with restaurants and retailers.
The platform provides businesses with access to data insights, delivery infrastructure, advertising solutions, and business tools designed to help merchants understand demand and improve their digital presence.
Another initiative, foodpanda Capital, provides eligible partners with collateral-free funding. Additional capital can help businesses manage cash flow and invest in equipment, inventory, marketing, and expansion.
For smaller businesses, these tools can help build more sustainable operations while reaching customers through digital channels.
Building a Stronger Digital Food Ecosystem
The CRAVE 2026 finale in Manila highlighted how technology continues to reshape the Philippine food and retail landscape.
For local restaurants, retailers, and other MSMEs, digital platforms provide new ways to reach customers, promote products, analyze business performance, and manage delivery.
Foodpanda said it will continue to focus on demand generation, customer experience, and logistics excellence as it works with merchants nationwide.
The company’s nationwide CRAVE Partner Summit also provided a platform to recognize businesses that contribute to the growth of the digital food ecosystem, from established merchants with strong sales performance to emerging partners building their customer base.
As Filipino consumers continue to embrace online ordering and digital shopping, partnerships between technology platforms and local businesses will remain an important part of the country’s evolving food and retail economy.
