Rivera-Guillermo during the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, in Makati City.
International delegates can send mail and purchase Philippine-themed postcards and commemorative ASEAN stamps at the International Media Center (IMC) at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
The partnership was formalized on November 4, 2026, when Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay and PHLPost Postmaster General and CEO Maximo C. Sta. Maria III signed the agreement. Maria III signed the agreement. The initiative brings essential postal services directly to the media center, supporting the Philippines’ whole-of-government approach to its ASEAN Chairship.
Sharing Filipino Culture Through Postcards and Stamps
The DOT sees the initiative as an opportunity to introduce the Philippines to international visitors through meaningful cultural souvenirs.
“Through our official postal operator, we will bring the Philippines closer to the world through something as simple yet meaningful as postcards, stamps, and mailing services, available to all delegates at the International Media Center,” Angara-Mathay said.
She added that the postcards and stamps invite international guests to discover the country’s destinations, traditions, and cultural identity.

Delegates can browse specially curated postcards featuring the Philippines’ tangible and intangible cultural heritage. The selection also includes commemorative stamp collections celebrating important regional milestones and the country’s ASEAN leadership.
Featured collections include the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairship 2026 stamp, a commemorative stamp marking the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia, and the ASEAN Fruits stamp series.
PHLPost Highlights the Value of Traditional Postal Services
For PHLPost, the partnership highlights the continuing relevance of postal services in an increasingly digital world.
Postmaster General and CEO Maximo C. Sta. Maria III emphasized how postcards and stamps offer a personal way to preserve travel memories and share cultural experiences.
“Postcards and stamps tell stories, capture experiences, and connect people, places, and cultures. More importantly, they give our international guests something tangible to remember their time in the Philippines,” Sta. Maria said.
Beyond convenient mailing services, the initiative lets delegates bring home a meaningful piece of the Philippines through collectible stamps and postcards.
