After a sunny day, I found myself in a hammock waiting for the sunset in the resorts beach front. That was an amazing day, I got the chance to have a close interaction with a huge whale shark and the best part is…. I don’t know how to swim but thanks to our guide since he practically guided me all the way LOL.

Sunset in Donsol
Donsol in Sorsogon, Fastly being recognized as the ‘Whale Shark capital of the world’ is a small rural community that have changed their way of life from fisherman’s to divers / tourist guides! Snorkeling with the whale sharks is Donsol’s prime tourism underwater activity which is being regulated by the local Department of Tourism office and being closely monitored by WWF.
I took this photo two years ago when I covered Butanding Festival in Donsol Sorsogon.
I will definitely visit Donsol next summer. This is my official entry on my friend and fellow travel blogger’s Travel Photo Contest :)

deep inside my heart i wanna to travel around the world and see something i never seen before, taste foods and interact with people.
Great blog! I had fun reading it. Diving could be real fun. All it takes is a snorkel and a deep breath in order to enjoy the life undersea. Coral reefs around the world offer magnificent and colorful worlds to anybody who is willing to give in to water.
