It’s been a long haul but three and a half years after opening, the residents are performing and loving the Festive Grand Theatre -(RWS) Resorts World Sentosa’s 1,600 seat all purpose venue. The show, Voyage de la Vie, is home produced and original to Singapore. It features an amazing show of symmetry, stunts, amazing deeds, death defying feats, and more than a few fabulous costumes.
Voyage de la Vie in Resorts World Sentosa
It was our second day of our Singapore FAM tour when we got the chance to watch the show. I read so much reviews about this show and even though there are bad reviews, I find the show really good and I highly recommend it to all those who are currently in Singapore to catch the show. Seated in the 6th row right in the middle, we were able to see it closely but I guess the only disadvantage of having front seat is when the acrobats performed in the ceiling on the shows finale.
Voyage de la Vie Performers
With more than 40 international cast members, RWS hs created an amazing big top performance that will make all of Singapore stand up and say Wow! The first theatrical circus in Singapore has raised the curtain and you don’t want to miss it. Created collaboratively between RWS and The Generating Company, UK – this spectacular show has made history in the island city state.
Voyage dela Vie Tickets
Since last June, Voyage de la Vie has been playing for select audiences and showing that there is an entire world within through the story of love, temptation, conflict, living, and dying. The story revolves around the inner world of a boy and the characters he meets as he traverses it Audiences have run the gamut of emotions as they go along on the journey and meet the colorful characters of the boy’s imagination and inner world.
This isn’t just a story though with more than a few death defying stunts, wonderful music, innovative dance, and more than a little bit of humor thrown in for good measure. You may have seen other circus performances and think you know what to expect, but Voyage de la Vie is like nothing you have ever seen before.
According to RWS executive vice president Andrea Teo, the challenge of building an original show from scratch was worth the extra work because it involved bringing local talent into the integrated resort and has resulted in something brand new in Singapore that the rest of the world has never seen.
