Tour of Clarke Quay – I Felt the Rhythm!

It was the night before our last day in Singapore when we visited the ultimate party district called Clarke Quay. I must agree, Its one of the most visited tourist destination in Singapore specially for people who loves to Party!!! This place is also a historical place that is situated at the upper zone of the Singapore River as well as Boat Quay. Just like Pasig River, this place used to be the center for commercial trading during the 19th century but in comparison to the Philippine counterpart – Pasig River, I found that modernity has touched this place to a great extent.

I was pretty amazed how Singaporeans managed to restore and maintain the place successfully and now tour of Clarke Quay will offer you ample opportunity to look and discover some of the most fabulous restaurants and Bars where you can enjoy Singapore Nightlife. One of the most exciting part of our tour was when we tried some of the bars and had wine after a sumptuous meal. For wine lovers there are several amazing wine bars where you can take part in the entertaining activities and sports that are common in the area.

One interesting bar I came across was called The Clinic, Imagine a wine bar that looks like a hospital ward were beers and liquors are served much like a dextrose while customers are seated in wheel chairs.. Amazing concept isn’t it? I like the overhead roof covering the center of the outdoor Party places. Worry not about the humidity of the area as there are mist spray that makes the entire place conducive to strolling.

If you are out there at Singapore and thinking about a perfect shopping experience, then it’s the retail shops at the Clarke quay that can bring you enough dose of shopping. From my experience I can suggest you do that before you take a tour of Clarke Quay if you want to enjoy the nightlife more. Just a tip, Wednesday is ‘Ladies Night’ in Singapore and resto bars are offering free entrance and free drinks until about 11pm.
