As a nod to the Filipino’s who first made the Philippine beaches big, Reef launched the “Local’s Perspective” Surf Book. Created together with “My Life On Board” – a long time partner of Reef, the book features some of the most prominent wave-chasers in the country as well as some of the sweetest waves caught from the different points of the Philippines.
Going one more step beyond, however – the Surf Book also includes top surfing beaches across Asia, accompanied with the back stories that made these moments even more special. Serving as an immortal symbol of the top people of the Philippine surfing community, the book also serves as a guide for anyone who wants to follow in the footsteps and start gaining their experience through different Philippine beaches.
Clean Beaches
Of course, with the recent attention towards a cleaner environment, Reef’s campaign also emphasizes their commitment towards cleaner beaches by sponsoring beach cleanups and responsible tourism. In fact, the company just partnered with the WWF to promote the Free the Sea Movement, a 3-day event composed of coastal-clean ups along the length of Baler.
Reef pledges to support the restoration of beaches starting with their campaign encouraging people to Beach Freely through products like the Fanning Low and the perforated boardshorts, both of which are designed for active beach-goers looking for beachwear that matches their energy and free spirit.
