Where you stay plays a big part in the whole La Union experience. So, if you are reading this, and hotels in La Union are fully booked the next time you visit, then worry no more because you are going to have a great time in this hotel we suggest one of the best beach resorts in the area.

Team Out Of Town Travel blog and other invited bloggers were fortunate enough to stay at P&M during the 3-day media familiarization. The hotel is owned by a couple, Peter and Mercy, thus the P&M and has been in the business since 2007. We were welcomed by Mr. Peter himself and his daughter Christine last February 23.
What’s Inside Final Option
The first thing you are going to notice is their vibrant façade, all colored in green and orange with some bamboo accents for a tropical vibe. Then once you enter, adjacent to the pool and premium rooms, is the Final Resort Spa – where you can get a nice massage after a tiring day. Final Option offers 13 types of rooms ranging from Premium, De Luxe Pool View, De Luxe Seaview, De Luxe Penthouse, and beach House. Price ranges from Php 3,100 to Php 9,400.
Each room are fully-airconditioned. They are equipped with a mini-bar, coffee-making facilities, cabled-TV, hot and cold shower with complete bathroom amenities, and even a sofa and kitchen table if you stayed at a Premium Room, which can accommodate 7-9 persons.
Ms. Shiela, the staff supervisor was kind enough to tour us around the hotel on our first day. We get to see their De Luxe room perfect for couples. Plus! This room has the perfect view of the sea. Its interior is warm and inviting and furnished with a bamboo material, making it like a traditional Filipino home. Woods are polished from ceilings up to the side table, and chairs. Also, hanging on the wall is a painting of a local fisherman and portraying the livelihood of the locals.
Hotel guests can also use the swimming pool, and enjoy surfing with their trained instructors. On our second day, the hotel even gave us a chance to go surfing with their trained instructors. The weather was perfect that day, which gave better waves for the travel bloggers to experience. But before they surf, a surf coach instructed them first on the do’s and don’ts when surfing, how to stand on the board, how to pull the ropes while getting back again on the area, where to jump, and the right position so they can stand on the board.
Well aside from surfing, other activities you can do is paddle boarding, kayaking, volleyball, and badminton. Guests need not to worry asking for any help and other concern because of the hotel staffs’ genial service.
From Tuesday to Sunday, the hotel holds live music performances from talented local musicians and plays along acoustic songs to set the perfect mood, while the beach waves are crashing on the shores.
Here at Final Option Beach Resort, they house a restaurant called German Bistro where they serve Continental, American, German, and Filipino breakfast.
During our first day, we were served with a German Platter, a mouthwatering Adobo Rice, Grilled Bangus, and a Fried Kangkong which is to die for. The German Bistro is also known for its authentic German dishes, beers and wines. They have the Kartoffel Salat, Gulaschsuppe, Curry Wurst, Fleischkase, Frikadellen, and more.
For their appetizers, you can go for the Sizzling Pork Sisig (Php 250), Sizzling Hungarian Sausage (Php 260), Sashimi Norweigan Salmon (Php 370) or Gambas (Php 290). For the beverages, you can choose from their wide selection of cold drinks and fruit juices.
With its clean rooms, great food and services, and hospitable hotel staffs, you’ll definitely have a great time here in La Union – that’s for sure.
