Another culinary highlight of my stay was experiencing C75 Bistro, the hotel’s French-Vietnamese dining concept.
I still find myself thinking about the Fresh Spring Rolls filled with mahi-mahi, pickled vegetables, and aromatic herbs wrapped in delicate rice paper.
Equally unforgettable was the Fish Meunière La Vong, featuring the catch of the day enhanced with turmeric brown butter, fried capers, ginger, and cilantro, served alongside flavorful fried rice.
The menu offered a refreshing departure from standard hotel fare, elevating the entire dining experience.
It was sophisticated without being intimidating, creative yet comforting—a true testament to the culinary talent behind the restaurant.

For guests attending festivals, exploring Puerto Princesa’s cultural attractions, or simply seeking a relaxing getaway, the location serves as an excellent base.
It allows you to experience the best of Puerto Princesa without sacrificing comfort and serenity.

Perhaps what I loved most about The Funny Lion Puerto Princesa was how effortlessly everything came together.
There wasn’t a single dramatic feature competing for attention. Instead, it was the collection of thoughtful details—the welcoming smiles, personal greetings, inviting spaces, delicious meals, comfortable accommodations, and the genuine desire to make every guest feel valued.
These seemingly small touches transformed an ordinary hotel stay into an experience worth remembering.
As I packed my bags and prepared to continue my journey through Palawan, I found myself already looking forward to returning.
