The agreement further includes the modernization and upgrade of the Air Services Agreement between the two countries that was originally signed in 1979.
The Philippine Civil Aeronautics Board stated that the Philippines’ agreement with Myanmar on air services could usher more development in our country’s trade and tourism as Myanmar has a rapidly growing economy of about 60 million people. (Source: PNA)
