Azalea Baguio’s Family Fun Holiday
On our after-summer visit to Azalea Baguio last July, my daughter and I got to savor every bit of fun that Azalea Residences in Baguio had in store for a Family Fun Holiday.

We had a heavenly one-bedroom suite as our home for two nights. It had everything you would need to live in a home, from a kitchenette, to living and dining areas, from a hot and cold bathroom to a cozy bedroom, and from a spacious balcony to a postcard view of the city. It is totally furnished with utensils, plates, gadgets and love, lots of it from them and from us.
A Spacious Play Area
The children that we were with enjoyed their playful moments in the playground at the hotel’s garden. There is sandy area dedicated for children, highlighted by a mini house where kids could go up through the climbing holds on the side and slide down on the other, plus swings, a merry-go-round and springs.
The surrounding area is quite pleasant for children as well, with a variety of colorful flowers and plants hung on recycled plastic bottles adding to the cool and panoramic air flowing about.
Eat-All-You-Can Breakfast
My daughter immensely enjoyed the hearty breakfast buffet offered at the hotel’s Tradisyon Cafe and Restaurant. It may have been sparked by the bottomless Strawberry Juice or the authentic hot chocolate, but Luna and the other kids around her ate a variety of dishes with joy and abundance.
Certain that this parent had a memorable breakfast too, the buffet was generous with fresh local fruits on season, fresh vegetables and salads, mouthwatering array of homestyle cooked breakfast dishes like vegetable torta, chicken adobo, smoked fish, rice porridge, hot soups, customized eggs and more.
Moreover, the staff and the setting were likewise complimenting to the delicious morning on hand.
Fantastic Activities for the Family
Considering that parents usually exhaust themselves with so many fulfillments for oneself and for the children daily, the dynamic Azalea team spurred up a handful of activities that the kids and the parents could enjoy separately.
As the sun was going down, the children were gathered inside the hotel’s function room to engage them into arts and crafts for hours on end. Meanwhile, the parents got to have a relaxed time shopping for souvenirs at the markets near Mine’s View Park and Session Road.
Later after dinner, the kids were given a pajama party, filled with cartoon movie marathon and a bar of assorted goodies to munch throughout the night; whereas in the room adjacent to the kids, the parents had their own marathon of karaoke songs with overflowing drinks and food.
At the end of the day, these activities are just some of the many activities that families could enjoy in a Family Fun Holiday at Azalea Residences.
Kid-friendly landmarks within the neighborhood
On a sunny day in Baguio City, a great family bonding is to walk to the city’s beautiful landmarks. The great thing about Azalea Residences is that it’s a few minutes walking distance to those kid-friendly places.
You could start at Teacher’s Camp, located just outside of the hotel, where you could jog together and discern the variety of flowers perched on its garden. Further on, you will arrive at Camp John Hay where you could do horseback riding, picnic, play mini-golf, walk around the Pet Cemetery, indulge in hot cocoa at Choco-Late de Batirol and more.
Nearby are other landmarks, such as Wright Park, the Mansion, Botanical Garden, and Session Road, which shortly lead to the fun-filled Burnham Park.
