The four-day event will bring together 30 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Sorsogon, offering Metro Manila shoppers an opportunity to discover food, handicrafts, fashion pieces, and other products inspired by the province’s rich natural resources and local traditions.

Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Sorsogon Provincial Office, the trade fair is designed to connect provincial entrepreneurs with urban consumers, institutional buyers, distributors, and potential business partners.

A Taste of Sorsogon in the City

Food lovers can look forward to a tempting selection of coconut- and pili-based products, two ingredients strongly associated with Bicol’s culinary heritage.

Visitors can shop for virgin coconut oil, coco jam, vinegar, traditional delicacies, pastries, and preserves, making the fair a great place to pick up regional treats and locally made food products.

The event also goes beyond food. Shoppers can browse a variety of handmade and lifestyle products, including abaca crafts, apparel, accessories, baskets, home décor, coconut-shell creations, and packaging materials.

Some exhibitors will also showcase sustainable charcoal innovations, demonstrating how local resources can be transformed into useful products while supporting more environmentally conscious livelihoods.

Meet Sorsogon’s Emerging Entrepreneurs

For many participating businesses, the GoConut Trade Fair is more than an opportunity to sell products. It provides a chance to introduce their brands to a wider market, interact directly with customers, and gain valuable feedback.

Nine of the 30 participating enterprises will be joining a trade fair for the first time. Their participation gives emerging Sorsogon brands an opportunity to introduce their products to consumers in Metro Manila and explore new commercial opportunities.

Meanwhile, 21 returning exhibitors will use the event to expand their customer base and present new or improved product offerings.

The participating businesses come from Sorsogon City and 12 municipalities across the province, representing communities in Barcelona, Bulan, Bulusan, Castilla, Donsol, Gubat, Irosin, Juban, Matnog, Pilar, Prieto Diaz, and Sta. Magdalena.

Celebrating Sorsogon’s Local Resources

One of the highlights of the trade fair is its focus on turning Sorsogon’s abundant natural resources into products with greater economic value.

Coconut, pili, and abaca are not simply raw materials. Through the creativity and entrepreneurship of local communities, they become food products, fashion accessories, household items, handicrafts, and sustainable innovations.

For visitors, this makes the trade fair an opportunity to discover products that reflect Sorsogon’s character while supporting small businesses and local livelihoods.

When and Where to Visit

The Kasanggayahan Sorsogon GoConut Trade Fair 2026 will be held from September 17 to 20, 2026, at the Level 2 Grand Atrium of Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong City.

Whether you’re searching for regional delicacies, locally made souvenirs, unique handicrafts, or new Filipino lifestyle brands, the four-day event offers a convenient way to experience a taste of Sorsogon without leaving Metro Manila.

More importantly, every purchase gives visitors a chance to support provincial entrepreneurs and help promote locally made Philippine products.
