PayMaya is one of the fastest growing payment options in the market today, offering users cashless transactions when buying all sorts of essentials from travels, department stores, supermarkets, and others.
In line with its vision, the company is happy to extend its services to travelers in Bicol with the help of LCC or the Liberty Commercial Center. The latter is the biggest operator of establishments in Bicol, queuing up malls, convenience stores, department stores, and even supermarkets to participate in the new cashless revolution. This bold and forward step officially started on May 18 via LCC Supermarket Vice President for Operations Christian Tan and PayMaya Philippines’ Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director Paolo Azzola. Also in the event is the LCC Group Treasury Manager, Rodel Sioson.
Tan’s statement during the launch brings forth the likelihood of a Cashless Bicol with LCC in the forefront of a more convenient experience for customers who wish to keep their transactions digital. President and CEO of PayMaya Philippines, on the other hand, uses the term “trailblazers” in reference to their LCC partners as they help each other achieve a government goal of more digital transactions by the year 2020.
This brand new cashless revolution makes it possible for Bicolanos to buy and transact using only their mobile phones in various stores in Bicol. From grocery items, clothes, food, and fun – PayMaya’s payment system allows them to provide the exact amount with just a simple scan using their smartphones. Taking into consideration the various phone preferences of individuals, PayMaya offers the app for both iPhone and Android users.
With the partnership, users of PayMaya can look forward to using the cashless transaction in all 70 branches of the LCC Department Store, the LCC Market Savers, the LCC Store Plus, the LCC Market Plus, the LCC Supermarket, and the LCC Expressmart.

EMV-powered PayMaya cards can now be bought through different LCC stores through the region. The same cards can be loaded through the Add Money option and gives users the absolute freedom to control how much money will be loaded into their account. Using this money, you can now buy products through PayMaya-supporting stores by simply scanning the PayMaya QR Code displayed on the cashier’s area. The display makes it easy for buyers to find out whether the store supports PayMaya payments.
Loading up the PayMaya account can be done through different touchpoints which include Smart Padala, 7-Eleven, Palawan Pawnshop, BDO, UnionBank, RCBC, Touchpay Kiosks, and more.
