The New Miss Bohol/Miss AirAsia 2018 is Reclaire Stephan Trigo from Tagbilaran City
(Tagbilaran City, Bohol) – After the successful staging of the Miss Bohol 2018 beauty pageant, the newest queen of Bohol is finally announced. From the 21 delegates hailing from the different towns of Bohol, Raclaire Stephan Trigo from Tagbilaran emerged as the winner. Unlike last year, the winner of Miss Bohol was automatically selected as Miss AirAsia. As the AirAsia ambassadress of Bohol, Raclaire Stephan will help in promoting the province’s tourism and her other advocacies.
The almost two months quest for Miss Bohol 2018 is finally concluded a little past midnight. The new queen, Tagbilaran City’s bet, Raclaire Stephan Dinsay Cesar Trigo brought home the crown after being named the new titleholder.
The 18-year old BS Psychology major student was also named as Miss Talent. She quickly emerged as the top favorite after winning the special awards for Best in Swimsuit and Best in Evening Gown.
All of the 21 delegates competed in their swimsuit, evening gown, and onstage individual interviews. Their final night score and talent night score was combined to determine their individual overall score which helped the judges to select the top 5.
During the final round, each of the top 5 finalists was asked the same question: “Do you believe that Bohol has built back better after the 7.2 quake that hit the province in 2013?”
Special Award Winners
Other special award winners were Miss Sagbayan as Miss Photogenic, Miss Maribojoc as Best in Production Number and Darling of the Crowd, Miss Dauis as Miss Congeniality, Miss Loboc as SMART Texters’ Choice, and Miss Bilar as Best in Interview and Darling of the Press.

AirAsia is Bohol’s official airline partner for the Sandugo Festival. The partnership was signed last February by Bohol Provincial Governor Edgar Chatto and AirAsia CEO Captain Dexter Comendador. The partnership involves brand advertising, promotional campaigns and activities, familiarisation trips, greater tourism development, media, travel agencies, route network synergy, and many more.
