The Top 3 Best Islands in the World are in the Philippines
The Philippines had bagged the top 3 spots in the 2017 world’s best islands list as voted by Conde Nast readers. CN Traveler named their top three islands which are Boracay, Cebu and Palawan who are all deserving to be on the top three list.

This is the second time for Boracay to get first place and why not? Decades ago when Boracay was discovered, it was a virgin beach with a long stretch of fine white sand which is what it’s famous for and when people learned about it, they couldn’t help coming again and again.
Today, Boracay is still famous with different things for everyone to enjoy like paraw sailing, water sports, nightlife, pig out sessions and beach bumming; no wonder it is the most loved island in the world. You can reach Boracay by boarding a plane headed to Caticlan, Malay and ride passenger boat ferries going to the island.

The island on second spot is Cebu. With a population of almost 3 million, multiple beaches on the mainland and on the nearby islands; Cebu is where urban meets homey. People tend to flock to this place because of its friendly environment, urban vibe and numerous options to have fun.
It is also in Cebu that you can swim with friendly whale sharks and no visit to Cebu will be complete without trying their famous lechon which different families offer their different versions. Flights going to Cebu from Manila are available at many times of the day and people coming from nearby countries like Singapore have the chance to go there on a direct flight.
The third Philippine island to be featured is Palawan. Palawan has been gifted with beautiful clear beaches and unlike Boracay which is in a way a beautiful chaotic place, Palawan is quieter so this place is for people who just like to admire the beauty of nature without having to bump into a lot of people.
In Palawan, you can go diving at Coron Bay and familiarized yourself with the sea creatures of Palawan, going on an underground river tour, Honda Bay island hopping, roaming around El Nido and discovering the Tubbataha Reefs which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

All these three signifies that the Philippines have many places to be proud of thanks to more than 300,000 readers who took part in this year’s poll even beating Spain, Greece and Indonesia, how’s that? This is not the first time for a Philippine island to be included in a Best List; in 2015, Palawan was also awarded top spot in Conde Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards while Cebu continues to be a top tourist destination of the country.
You can say that out of the 30 islands mentioned, Boracay, Cebu and Palawan are still the best in the world and you can start adding it on your vacation wish list now. Going on these islands will surely be the best experience for every vacationer. The Philippines is definitely worth this award.
