Now that’s it’s the start of the rainy season, food-tripping is made even more convenient, thanks to LRT-1 and ikotMNL!

But first, let’s talk about the famed Railway Jam at the Doroteo Jose, Monumento, and Baclaran station:

From Thursdays to Saturdays, 4PM-6PM until August, the Doroteo Jose train station will become a mini-concert hub for commuters as up-and-coming local musicians perform through busking sessions, also known as Railway Jam. It is initiated by Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) and ikotMNL, in partnership with Organisasyon ng mga Pilipinong Mang-Aawit (OPM). Just don’t forget to show your appreciation on the artists, and share them on your social media pages!

Have a Splendid Lunch at Baclaran

Start your Manila food trip with lunch at the Pista Food Hall at Redemptorist Road with known for its Filipino cuisine and regional flavors by its different concessionaires. Check out the Balai Kubo stall for your salad and veggie fix. Then there’s also the Mangkok stall if you’re craving for Kare-Kare, Caldereta, Callos, Pochero, Binagoongan, and other favorite Pinoy dishes.

But of course, let’s not forget the Ihaw stall where you’ll find your favorite Pinoy tusok-tusok, such as isaw, bilog, tenga, betamax, and tokwa. Not to mention, there’s also a Pork Sisig and Burger Steak in the menu! Yummm!
