Through eligible Grab transactions and in-app activities, users can collect GrabCoins and use them to unlock vouchers and discounts on participating Grab services. The program gives frequent Grab users another way to get more value from transactions they already make through the app.

More Ways to Earn GrabCoins

Grab users can earn GrabCoins through various eligible activities and transactions. These include booking an Advanced Booking or Group Ride, hosting a GrabFood group order, placing orders during selected promotional periods, and shopping from participating grocery and pharmacy categories on GrabMart.

GrabCoins can also be earned through eligible GrabCar, GrabFood, GrabMart, and GrabPay transactions, giving users more opportunities to build up their balance while using Grab for everyday needs.

For GrabUnlimited (GU) members, the rewards can be even more generous. Members can earn 6 GrabCoins for every PHP100 spent using GrabPay and 3 GrabCoins for every PHP100 spent through other eligible cashless payment methods.

Double Your GrabCoins on Double Coins Days

For users looking to maximize their GrabCoins, Grab is introducing Double Coins Days, a monthly promotion running from the 23rd to the 25th of every month.

During the three-day promotional period, users can earn 2× GrabCoins on selected eligible transactions. Participating offers and promotions are featured on the GrabCoins homepage in the Grab app, making it easier for users to see where they can earn more.

For regular Grab users, timing purchases and bookings around Double Coins Days could be a simple way to build up GrabCoins faster.

GrabCoins can be used across Grab’s everyday services, including GrabCar, GrabFood, and GrabMart.

Where Can You Use GrabCoins?

Accumulated GrabCoins can be used in several ways across the Grab ecosystem. Users can exchange them for vouchers through the GrabCoins catalog or apply them directly to eligible transactions.

Depending on the participating service, GrabCoins can be used toward:

  • GrabCar rides
  • GrabFood orders
  • GrabMart grocery purchases
  • Eligible in-store payments through GrabPay
  • Vouchers and other rewards are available in the GrabCoins catalog

For eligible GrabCar, GrabFood, and GrabMart transactions, users can activate the GrabCoins toggle to apply their available coins toward the purchase.

GrabPay users can also use GrabCoins when making eligible in-store QR Ph payments, adding another way to turn accumulated rewards into everyday savings.

Check Your GrabCoins Balance in the Grab App

GrabCoins are valid for six months from the date they are earned, so users should track their balances and expiration dates to maximize their rewards.

To check available GrabCoins and discover current redemption options, users can simply open the Grab app and visit the GrabCoins section. The page provides access to the user’s balance, available rewards, vouchers, and participating offers.

With more ways to earn and spend GrabCoins across transportation, food, groceries, and payments, Grab’s expanded rewards program gives users more opportunities to turn their everyday transactions into savings.
