AirAsia Unveils partnership with Henann Group of Resorts by launching special aircraft livery

AirAsia Philippines and Henann Group of Resorts partner for the unveiling of Henann Resort Alona Beach

AirAsia has been renowned for being the world’s best low-cost carrier since 2008. Now with its sparkling seven years of getting its flyers to their destinations, AirAsia partners with Philippine resort developer Hennan Group of Resorts, which is known for its Henann Lagoon Resort and Henann Garden Resort in Boracay, Philippines. Now, Hennan Group of Resorts aims to open yet another luxury hotel resort in the Henann series—the Henann Resort Alona Beach in Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines.

An AirAsia Airbus A320 was painted with Henann Group of Resort’s logo on both sides, making the aircraft shine a stunning vibrant shade of blue, and to promote the interests of both AirAsia and Henann Group of Resorts—which is to “bring more tourists into the country and offer them to experience the Filipino brand of excellent service”, according to AirAsia Philippines CEO Joy Cañeba in her welcoming speech in an unveiling ceremony in NAIA Terminal 4.

In line with the grand opening of Henann Resort’s property in Panglao Island, one of the country’s hottest tourist destinations, Henann Groups of Resort brainchildren Chairman Dr. Henry Chusuey and his son Vice President for Marketing Karl Chusuey, representatives of the media, and Hennan Group of Resorts guests, flew from Manila to Bohol at 11:40AM yesterday in AirAsia’s specially-painted aircraft.

“We are thrilled and honored to carry a homegrown luxury resort brand that does not only proudly promote the Philippines but also values a strong, innovative service culture, which are also the hallmarks of AirAsia’s brand of service,” Cañeba said in her speech.

Today, August 22, 2015, marks the official grand opening of Henann Resorts Alona Beach. The hotel stands on 6.5 hectares along the shores of Alona Beach and features 400 rooms excluding its several in-house restaurants and various facilities, according to the hotel’s official website. After the grand opening today, Henann Resort will be the biggest resort in Panglao Island, Bohol. Now, guests can enjoy Henann’s signature world-class facilities while in frolicking in the white sands of Alona Beach, Bohol.
