This year’s theme: Landing through Township to Discover Atlantis
This 2019, more exciting events are happening in Taiwan, such as The Taiwan Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Festival, which is now entering its 12th year.
It will be celebrated on August 25, featuring 25 talented sand-sculpture artists from 7 countries. They will showcase their artistic creations, aiming to get the title of “the biggest number of people to create sand sculptures together worldwide” for the Guinness World Record.
Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Festival
It is expected to have 365 sand sculptures at Fulong Beach, which will be exhibited from tampering sand, plating, and molding, to the shaping process. This year’s theme is “Landing through Township to Discover Atlantis,” which coincides with the ” Year of Township Roaming for 2019″ by the Tourism Bureau.
The 3 Exhibition Areas
Aside from the sand sculpture contest, the celebration will also showcase three exhibition areas where they’ll feature popular movie dramas such as “Along with the Gods,” “Travel through the Ancient and Modern,” and “The Beauty of Sea.”
Several interactive sand sculptures will be at the site, all of which are both environmental-friendly and fun. There will also be a unique sand-sculpture bar that will allow visitors to order drinks on the spot.
They will feature sand sculptures and changing LED projection lights every Saturday and Sunday night.
Get a Tasty Fulong Meal-Box
Visitors taking the train to Fulong Station will get a tasty Fulong meal box that they can take while taking a stroll at Fulong Beach and admiring the sand sculptures.
When summer arrives, visitors must visit Fulong Beach at the Northeast Coast National Scenic Area of Taiwan to celebrate and enjoy the annual sand sculpture event!
About Fulong
Fulong is located at the center of the Northeast Coast National Scenic Area. As visitors walk across the road from Fulong Railway Station to the opposite side, it is at the Northeast Coast and Yilan National Scenic Area Administration Office. The place is perfect for enjoying water, cycling, and camping activities.
