Taal Vista Hotel with Bahay Kalingap

Tagaytay City, Philippines – Taal Vista Hotel initiated an outreach program through an elderly home called, Bahay Kalingap located in Tagaytay City.

Bahay Kalingap started in 2018 and currently has eight elders ages 50-90 years old. As part of their livelihood program, the elderly are also taught of rug, pot holder, and pillow making. From time to time, the facility is also used as a retreat house with seven rooms that can cater to a maximum of 50 persons.

Taal Vista Hotel offered nutritious meals and pastries for the elderly, various construction materials for additional rooms, old clothing, fabric scraps, and discarded linens that were used for rug, pot holder, and pillow making. The heartwarming outreach program was attended by colleagues from different departments.

Taal Vista Hotel is more than glad to be of service to Bahay Kalingap as the team continues to strengthen their commitment to the community.
