Hotel and leisure company Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has declared the Westin brand’s first mixed-use development in Asia by the mounting of The Westin Manila Sonata Place and The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place.

The Westin Manila Sonata Place and The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place are new build properties owned by Robinsons Land Corporation and are scheduled to be accessible to the public in 2019.

The project is anticipated to join two other Philippines-based hotels in the Starwood pipeline—The Westin Manila Bayshore and Sheraton Manila Hotel which are planned to open in 2018 and 2017 respectively.
The Westin Manila Sonata Place will have 300 guestrooms and will be constructed on San Miguel Avenue – the main street of Ortigas Business District in downtown Manila. On the other hand, the Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place will have 350 private residential apartments, stretching from one to three bedroom units. The location is approximately 11 kilometers from Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
This expansion grips the Westin brand positioning of “For a better you” by proposing facilities, programs and locations premeditated to stimulate a sense of balance and improve well-being that can make the guests and residents feel better than when they first arrived.
In lieu with this, the place promises to fully equip each room with the brand’s signature comforts. There will be the world-renowned Westin Heavenly Bed, the Heavenly Bath experience, and an ergonomic work area for optimal efficiency.
The hotel will also ensure three food and beverage places which includes a full service restaurant and a specialty restaurant in the Lobby Lounge. Additional features intended to aid guests to feel at their best are the WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio, a full-service spa, and a swimming pool. Owners of The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place will also revel in a separate pool, fitness center and lounge.

In addition, the project will magnify Manila’s presents for meetings and event planners with over 1,400 square meters of function space, counting two ballrooms and six meeting rooms.
