Confirmed News: Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2014 is Cancelled

It’s confirmed, The 2014 Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is cancelled according to CDC Tourism Office Manager Noemi Garcia. The Hot Air Balloon Festival 2014 organizers decided to cancel the event since it is “too soon” and they don’t have enough time for the preparation.

The Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is also the biggest aviation sports festival in the Philippines and the longest running balloon event in Asia. Every year, an estimated of 60,000 local and foreign visitors visit Angeles City Pampanga to see this event.

I’ve been covering this event over the past couple of years and heres some of my posts related to the Hot Air Balloon Event in Clark:

The event cancellation is not a welcome news but lets just hope and wait for the bigger and grander Philippine International Hot Air Balloon 2015!
