Legoland Malaysia : Asia’s first Legoland theme park to open soon

Legoland Malaysia adventure park is opening soon in Malaysia. It would be open to public starting on September 15th, 2012 for the invited guests and Media from different parts of the Globe. The park promises a wide range of fun-filled attractions with a total number of 40 shows, rides and attractions make up the entire setup. The centers of attractions in the park includes ‘Lego Kingdom’, ‘Land of Adventure’, ‘Miniland’, ‘Lego City’, ‘Lego Techic’, ‘Imagination’ and ‘The Beginning’. The park will also consist of shops and restaurants designed for providing visitors with utmost comfort while they enjoy refreshments. The shops in Legoland Malaysia includes mini market, the big shop, King’s Market, ‘Pick a Brick’ and Adventure’s Depot.

The major attraction in the Legoland Malaysia Park is ‘MINILAND’ where visitors along with their kids can view the miniature model of the famous landmarks from almost 17 Asian countries. Some of the other Minilands to be featured in the park includes MINILAND in Billund, Windsor, Deutschland, Florida, and California. ‘The Beginning’ is the entry point to the park.

This place offers the ‘Big Shop’ which will be housing some of the largest selection of Lego Toys in Asia. ‘IMAGINATION’ is a place in the park where visitors of all ages will be able to show their creativity skills together with whole family members. They will be having an opportunity to use facilities such as ‘Build & Test Centre’, DUPLO Express, DUPLO Playtown, LEGO Studios, Observation Tower and Kids Power Tower, especially designed for younger children.

LEGO TECHIC in Legoland Malaysia Park is a place for educational entertainment. LEGO TECHIC comprises of a LEGO Academy designed for younger children which is aptly followed by ‘Aquazone Wave Racers’, ‘LEGO MINDSTORMS’-a creative workshop, Project X and Technic Twister. More activities with utmost fun are provided for visitors in the LEGO KINGDOM. It includes ‘The Forestmen’s Hideout’ which is a multi-level romp through a freetop hideaway and also ‘castle stage’ which consist of damsels and dragons designed to surprise visitors of all ages.

For younger children, Lego Kingdom provides ‘Dragon’s Apprentice’ which is a rollercoaster ride and ‘Royal Joust’, a medieval contest in the Lego Horse. Other rides available for children include ‘Merlin Challenge’ and ‘The Dragon’.

‘Land of Adventure’ provides a memorable place which visitors can enjoy with their whole family. Here, the whole family can engage in activities such as ‘Lost Kingdom’, ‘Beetle Bounce’, ‘Pharaoh’s Revenge’ and ‘Dino Island’ which are meant for grownups who accompany the kids. Finally ‘Lego City’ is where kids can take control of their own world. They can control a LEGO aero plane, boats and even drive a Lego Toy Car, all of which are designed keeping the safety of the children in mind. Entertainment points in Lego City include a Rescue Academy, LEGO City Stage, LEGOLAND Express which is a train that will take the visitors across the park, ‘The shipyard’ etc. For younger children, Lego City offers destinations like LEGO City Airport, Boating School, and Junior Driving School. There is also a driving school for children inside LEGO City in Legoland Malaysia.

Several restaurants will function inside Legoland Malaysia including Pizza Mania, which will be a great place for visitors who are especially interested in having pizza and pasta. ‘The cafe’ restaurant inside the park will be offering freshly baked European pastries, breads and buns. There is also a separate ‘market’ restaurant inside the park which will be offering Continental, Asian and Western Cuisine. Asian delights will also be available in the ‘Robot Kitchen’ restaurant. Burgers and Hot Dogs would be made available in the ‘Adventure Stand’ restaurant.

Kiosks will be offered in the ‘Stunt Show Kiosk’ restaurant which will start functioning inside the park up on the opening of Legoland Malaysia. Legoland Malaysia is easily accessible via a number of direct bus services daily coming from JB Sentral, Larkin, Gelang Patah Sentral and Johor Premium Outlets.
