Step-by-Step Guide on Reloading Autosweep RFIDs
Planning to go on a trip down South? If you’re passing through the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), an Autosweep RFID is a must-have for all vehicles as major expressways transition to a cashless transaction. Read more about how it works and where to load for those unfamiliar with RFIDs.

What’s an Autosweep RFID?
To put it simply, RFID is a sticker placed in vehicles containing digital data. This data is then captured by a reader through radio waves. In the Philippines, it is now being implemented in expressways such as in SLEX and NLEX that help in cashless payments, no-contact policies, and therefore have little to no inconvenience in traffic at all.
Autosweep RFID is mainly being used in the following thoroughfares:
- South Luzon Expressway (SLEX)
- Skyway
- NAIA Expressway (NAIAX)
- STAR Tollway
- Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX)
