Caffeinated Afternoons at Holiday Inn Baguio City Centre
Its summertime again and if there’s one place I want to visit other than a palm covered beach, It’s Baguio City. It’s not that cold in the highlands during summer but Its definitely better than the steamy metropolis.

A couple of days ago, I was invited to visit the summer capital for a 3days 2nights staycation at the Holiday Inn Baguio City Centre (hotel info). Apart from experiencing the amenities of the newest 4–star hotel in the city, I also got invited at the launch of their Caffeinated Afternoons – a new offering from their in-house restaurant – Lamisaan Dining and Bar.

Guests and walk-in diners have another reason to visit Holiday Inn Baguio City Centre and enjoy an afternoon of sumptuous coffee and pastries with the launched of their “Caffeinated Afternoons.”

From 2 to 5 PM every day, guests can now head on over to the hotel’s Lamisaan Dining & Bar to get a taste of the special Benguet Coffee. They can also get to enjoy a bevy of Dilmah teas plus unlimited cakes, freshly baked breads, pastries and featured savory snacks.

Among the cakes available at the spread, I love their super moist triple chocolate that comes with premium 55 percent Malaysian dark chocolate, a modern interpretation of the famed tiramisu by Chef Ed of Holiday Inn.

Guests can also enjoy a wide array of unlimited pastries and merienda options, such as chocolate chip cookies, chewy crinkles, tasty mille-feuille, and Vienna-style brownies. There’s also a pastry wheel that showcases a multitude of danishes and muffins.

Of course, Holiday Inn signature breads are also on offer, which include choco-banana loaf, carrot and walnut bread, along with sweet and savory bread that features a “heavenly combination” of cheese and meat.
At any rate, Holiday Inn Baguio City Centre’s Caffeinated Afternoons is surely a good idea to catch the fancy of a lot of travelers and guests.
