When did you started blogging, Why do you blog?

I started blogging back in 2011 when I first studied abroad. It was a fashion-slash-lifestyle-slash-travel blog as I was a fashion student in Italy. It was the one that made sense at the time. Professional travel blogging came the following year when I decided to travel the world for real.

To be honest, I blog for myself. I blog so that one day, I will remember how to exactly tell my story to my children and grandchildren. 😉

When did you start traveling, inspirations?

When I was 22, young and physically fit, I decided that I should start traveling the world. It all happened to me when I went to a University in Milan, Italy. I spent most of my life studying Fashion and Arts Management at the same time, seeing Europe. I was able to go around on my feet and learned a lot of things from different people and culture. My love for football also encouraged me to travel more. About five years ago, Liverpool FC and Arsenal had an Asian Tour. I followed every match and stalked them wherever they were. I booked expensive tickets, got hungry but still, I was able to see them play live. That was an eye opener for me to see more places. When I realised it was that easy, I decided to pursue long term travel.

Lessons you learned on the road?

Oh, there’s a lot my favourite is how powerful the human soul is. I’ve faced different (and hard) challenges that I was able to surpass and that idea still amazes me! I realised we can do anything as long as we believe!

Things you love about the Philippines?

The Filipinos are the best part about being in the Philippines. They amuse me. They challenge me. Every Filipino loves to travel and they have the urge of learning about anything! They can adapt easily and are always very creative.
