Tom N Toms Coffee Cebu Review
Looking for a café that’s a favorite of coffee lovers and non-coffee lovers alike? Then Tom N Toms Coffee in Cebu just might be the one you’re looking for.

Tagged as the Starbucks of Korea, here’s my first-hand experience at this one and only branch in Cebu.
Where is it?
It’s at The Greenery in Mabolo conveniently located in the vicinity of Crossroads, Cebu Business Park and Asiatown IT Park accessible via jeepneys and with sufficient parking space.
What’s great about the café being located in a lifestyle destination is that if you ever feel a need for a change of setting, you can literally just go next door.

First Impressions
Fronting the highway, the café spans a wide and liveable space of 200 square meters. This branch also has an alfresco area. If you need a nicotine fix, that’s where you do the deed.

Also, its studio-type interiors look sleek, you could even choose a seat that matches your personality.

Checking out the second floor, we found a private function room by the stairway. We learned that it can accommodate 8 to 12 people and you could use it as long as your group consumes at least 2,000 pesos.

You can’t also help but notice the unbearable clatter generated from the mishmash of customers working on tight deadlines, call center agents getting their coffee fix, students cramming for exams on the last minute, k-pop crews taking a break from their dance practice, barkadas sharing the latest gossip or networking people orienting new recruits.
If you ever decide to do something productive here and christen this as your extended office, better get a headset with a noise-cancelling feature or else visit during the non-peak hours.
What’s in store for you?
I guess you could come here for 130 days straight and still order an item you haven’t chosen before, presuming you only get one item from the menu every time you visit.

I also mentioned earlier that this café is for all beverage aficionados. Why? It’s because they also offer tea, smoothies, fruit juices and non-coffee-based ice-blended drinks.

However, if you’re a coffee aficionado, be advised that they are only offering regular coffee, not those exotic beans you can get from Civet cat droppings or from a plantation somewhere in Brazil.

Also, their pretzels, pastries, breads, and pizza are all freshly baked which would considerably take the crew some time to complete an order.
Ordering Process
Using my reloadable Tom N Tom’s card, I ordered their Deli Italiano Pretzel and Pecan Praline TomNccino, went to our table and checked my newsfeed using their strong and free WIFI and waited for about ten minutes when the order completion device vibrated.
Tip: Order the set offering of pretzel plus drink, as the combo could save you at least twenty pesos.

Taking a huge bite of the pretzel made from soy flour, the Deli Italiano was fresh-from-the-oven hot, soft, chewy and cheesy with ham bits on it and was satisfying. Sipping my Pecan Praline, I got addicted to its well-blended, nutty, creamy and subtle taste.

I also got to taste their Garlic Butter Bread which was toasty on the outside yet soft and a bit oily on the inside. Just make sure to pair it with coffee to neutralize the smell of garlic in your mouth.

Final Thoughts
I guess after reading this review we can both agree that Tom N Tom’s is surely worth a visit. Don’t worry, you can drop by anytime as they are open 24/7. Do check their Facebook page for promos and events.
