C.O.R.A.L. Movement: Bringing Back the Beauty and Glory of Our Coral Reefs

The Philippines is the “center of the center” when it comes to marine biodiversity because of its immense number of species, fish and corals than any other marine environment on earth. However, at present, a large number of our coral reefs are at serious risk and have been slowly dying.

Movement focuses on creating living Coral Park in the coastal areas of Marinduque, the Center and Heart of the Philippines and is aiming to boost eco-tourism, to give employment and livelihood opportunities to the locals, to involve the local community to the project through trainings and teachings, and to restore and conserve the Philippine coral reefs.
