Intramuros

Intramuros has been a popular destination in Metro Manila for many years. It has a rich history and is also very affordable. There are three popular spots in Intramuros: Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church, and Manila Cathedral.

Fort Santiago is well known as the place where Jose Rizal was imprisoned but aside from this, it also offers many nice spots which any traveler will definitely enjoy. San Agustin Church is the oldest church in the country and a survivor of World War II. Going inside the church, you will be amazed at the stunning beauty and elegance of this church. Manila Ocean Park

Manila Ocean Park is the place to go if you love sea creatures. There are around 14,000 of them here; 277 species from Southeast Asia. It is divided into 7 sections and carries about three thousand cubic meters of seawater. The curved 220° walkway tunnel is the main attraction here. This is where you will be lead after the fifty five-meter walkway. The water comes from Manila Bay, filtered to suit marine life. This is also the first penguin facility in the Philippines, with a successful breeding program.

They also teach visitors how to swim while wearing a mermaid costume. There are Bird and Sea Lion Shows too. This one’s truly a wonderful destination experience.

Ayala Triangle Gardens

Located in Makati CBD and famous for the Lights display during the Christmas season, Ayala Triangle Gardens is another must see if you’re touring around the Metro.

The luxuriant garden can offer a sanctuary for the busy people of Makati. It’s like communing with nature in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect spot to go if you want to relieve yourself from the stress of daily work. This place is also ideal for health buffs; jogging and brisk walking. RAVE Pasig Rainforest
