“Makalipas ang 11 years delay, ang tinaguriang MOST SCENIC GATEWAY sa bansa—ang Bicol International Airport (BIA)—sa Daraga, Albay, ay MALAPIT NANG MATAPOS!” says the DOTr.

It continues that at the moment, the completion rate of the construction of the said international airport is at 62.042 percent. It is anticipated that by July this year, the construction is already done.

It can be recalled that the construction of this airport commenced back in 2008. However, due to what was declared a failed bidding, the construction was delayed.

“At, may bonus pa na tanawin na makikita ang mga pasahero, sa napakagandang view ng bulkang Mayon!” added the DOTr.
