Previous Post: Kuala Terengganu City Tour: Malaysia Asean East Coast Trail Day 4
I can’t believe we already spent 4 days in Malaysia particularly in the State of Terengganu. It’s amazing how fast time flies by and I didn’t even realize that we are already on our 5th day in Malaysia. As much as we want to stay, we had to leave and go back to Kuala Lumpur for the remainder of our 6 days Malaysia Asean East Coast Trail.
Inside KL Pavilion Mall
Our group left early to catch the first flight to KL while the second group enjoyed a short tour of Kuala Terengganu while en route to the airport.
SURIA KLCC Mall
Upon arriving at Kuala Lumpur, we headed straight to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang for an hour of free and easy shopping. Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a 1.37 mil sq ft retail haven with over 500 outlets offering the finest fashion and home furnishing to entertainment and culinary delights.
Craft Complex in Kuala Lumpur
My favorite section in Pavilion KL is the Tokyo Street. From its layout, restaurants and Japanese Inspired shops, Tokyo Street simply represents Japan’s dynamic culture and ambience. From Pavilion Mall, we took the foot bridge to reach KLCC for another hour of shopping and picture taking at the Petronas Tower.
Inside Batik Gallery
After taking couple of selfies, we headed to Craft Complex in Jalan Conlay. Also popularly known as Kuala Lumpur Craft Cultural Complex, this shopping center has a craft museum, artists’ colony and craft village as well as batik gallery and souvenir shop.
Souvenir Shops in KL Tower
Our last stop was at KL Tower for our dinner at the famous Atmosphere 360 restaurant. Before having dinner, we visited the KL Tower’s observation deck. Also known as Menara Kuala Lumpur, The KL Tower is the seventh tallest telecommunication tower in the world.
Sunset View from KL Tower
The KL tower shaft comprises 22 levels with four elevators and flights of stairs with a total of 2,058 steps. The observation deck provides a 360-degree view of the city. Surprisingly, It only takes less than a minute by elevator to reach the observation deck and takes 52 seconds to come down.
Chef at Work in Atmosphere 360 Restaurant
After watching the beautiful sunset at the observation deck, we proceeded to Atmosphere 360 Restaurant for dinner. Atmosphere 360 is a revolving restaurant located at Menara Kuala Lumpur that offers modern authentic Malaysian and International cuisine.
Buddha Jump in KL Petronas Twin Towers
Aside from the amazing view, their buffet spread is fabulous and they also have various kind of delectable desserts in a separate section.
After having dinner, we proceeded to Melia Hotel Kuala Lumpur to checkin and rest.
