Hello from Malaysia! Its been almost six months since the last time I visited Malaysia and that was for an inaugural flight to Miri courtesy of AirAsia Zest.

This time I was with Asean media and travel agents to join Malaysia East Coast Trail 2014, a Familiarization Tour hosted by Tourism Malaysia. This event was participated by media practitioners and Travel Agents from Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Earlier we had a sumptuous dinner here at The Everly Hotel Putrajaya (hotel details) hosted by Tourism Malaysia. Tomorrow, we will be leaving for Tasik Kenyir in Kuala Terengganu.

Tasik Kenyir or Kenyir Lake is an artificial lake located in the state of Terengganu in northeast Malaysia. Considered as the largest man-made lake in South East Asia, Tasik Kenyir also serves as another gateway to Taman Negara.

The entire delegation will be exploring some of the historical landmarks and beautiful tourism attractions in the State of Terengganu. Some of the places that we will visiting includes Tasik Kenyir, Kenyir Elephant Village, Kelah Sanctuary, Bewah Cave, Petang Island Resort, Islamic Civilization Park, Kuala Terengganu, Nur Zahirah Complex, Floating Mosque, Noor Arfa Craft Complex and Primula Beach Resort.
