Table of Contents
Rising 6-storeys high in the heart of Baguio City is the ultimate holiday haven for the “funnest” of families.

Azalea Hotels and Residences Baguio City is an all-suite hotel that tenders everything that a family would need to enjoy the country’s summer capital.

As a mother traveling with her 4½-year old daughter, along with a big bunch of family holidaymakers, Azalea gave us the fantasy getaway that we verily deserved.

Fun Playground
To highlight the wonderful offerings that families would look for in a fun family-centered hotel in Baguio, Azalea houses a nice playground within the properties’ flourishing garden.

It sets a stimulating outdoor playhouse where children could play and meet up with other kiddie hotel guests. There is also, a slide, swings, merry-go-round, see-saw, a sandy ground and many more activities that offer kids active fun and imaginative play for many hours.

Nourishments by Tradisyon
While families need to be nourished well in order to have the best holiday of their lives, there is Tradisyon Restaurant Café at the ground floor to get mouth-watering satisfaction from the whole day.

From 6 to 10am, the hotel’s prestigious restaurant bestows a wide range of delicious breakfast buffet, complimentary to every family’s discerning tastes. It highlights the fresh salad bar, your-own-egg-style at the egg station, warm soups and an impressive variety of sumptuous dishes inspired by international cuisines.

For lunch, the a la carte menu fulfills a continuity of memorable gastronomy. Like the Filipino dishes we were served with, Kare-Kare, Grilled Squid, Spring Chicken, Chopsuey and a dessert of Tres Leches cake topped with a fresh strawberry.

Dinner, on hand, exhibits diverse offering hailing from the kitchen’s creative renditions of the world’s beloved cuisines. One could chance upon a Mexican Buffet on one evening, and an Italian Night, on the other.

Granted that Tradisyon offers flavourful and quality-made nourishments for the family, the hotel’s all-suite rooms also render a meal setup that is extra-special and lavishly exclusive for homey families.
All-Suite Rooms for Absolute Living Holiday
Within Azalea’s all-suite rooms, vacationing families can simply revel in the glory of its full-serviced apartment in the majority of their ultimate holiday in Baguio City.

Such as inside our corner suite 507, we were greeted with a spectacular setup of a cosmopolitan home that a couple with a young child or a mother and her child, like me and Luna, would take a pleasurable holiday in.

There was a U-shaped kitchenette, fully-equipped and graciously adorned with complimentary bottles of mineral water, a fruit basket, and a bouquet of flowers.

Beyond, was a marvelous living area with a sofa bed that has already been transformed into a bed, naturally enticing us to soak up into its softness; while the area is equipped with media players, the scenery from the adjacent balcony promised utmost contentment where meditation, yoga or silent sight-seeing strikes up a harmony with the intoxicating scent and scenery of Baguio City.

And where sweet slumber beckoned, the dimmed bedroom with the cozy queen-sized bed and quaint dresser fell nothing short of a blissful evening that parents of spirited and willful children would yearn for, as I personally attest to.
Family-Fun Places Within Reach
To match the “funnest” Baguio holiday for the family, Azalea holds access to the city’s most valued family-friendly destinations.

Just outside of Leonard Wood Loop, where Azalea Baguio (reviews) is located, is the long-beheld Teacher’s Camp, which aside from the country-style buildings, dating back in pre-World War II, also houses a lush botanical garden, blooming with sunflowers and gardenias, a vast manicured garden for picnics, an oval for running, and a long and winding road where families can squeeze in a sporty and nature-inspired activity before venturing out of the hotel for more sight-seeing.

In destinations, slightly farther, such as the Mine’s View Park for a panoramic view of the Cordilleras, Wright Park for horseback riding and picnics, the Baguio Botanical Garden for a grand tour into the region’s floral culture, the Mansion, and Camp John Hay for family golfing, picnics, horseback riding and snacks at Chocolate de Batirol, families have the option to ride a private or public transport to, or best is to take the healthier option of walking, which takes a quarter hour away.

For much farther destinations, families could rely on Azalea’s expertise in going to Tam-Awan Village for an immersion into the mountain culture, La Trinidad Valley for strawberry picking, and unique concept cafes like Arca’s Yard near La Trinidad and Ili-Likha Artist Village near Session Road, just to name a few.

As a whole, with good energy revolving in Azalea Baguio Residences, the best simply shines forth in everyone, and that includes families.
