Summer is closer than you think. As the summer heat and vibe rolls in, our beach plans come along with it. In order to make the best out of that beach trip, you have to plan out and prepare things beforehand. To prevent forgetting leaving or forgetting the things to bring, we’ve rounded up the essentials you should pack when having a weekend escape to the beach.
Sunscreen

So, when it comes to beach essentials, the one thing you should never forget is to protect your skin; you can do so by bringing and using sunblock/sunscreen. You wouldn’t want to come out of the trip looking like a pumpkin. Get one that has SPF 30 or more.

Other than the fact that shades also offer protection for your eyes, you have got to admit that wearing shades adds look and style to your beach outfit. It is both useful and fashionable. Beach towel
Sand-Proof Beach Towels
If the beach you are going to doesn’t have any nearby huts or tables, a beach towel will be your best friend so you can still sit on the sand but not getting burned by the heat of the sun. Plus, it adds character to your pictures. If you want a sand proof and stylish towel, check out these beach towels from Tesalate.

It doesn’t matter if you prefer caps or hats, you just have to not forget to bring at least one. Again, this can add variety to your outfit, but for most, it also offers additional protection for your face. It adds an extra barrier from the sun’s light to your face.
Flip flops

Wearing rubber shoes can also be a choice, but it is more difficult to remove all that sand and to get it dry if it gets wet. So, wearing flip flops is more advisable, most especially if you want to go in and out of the water.
Swimwear
Swimwear perfect for your weekend escape to the beach
Although a regular shirt and shorts can be used for swimming, it’s more advisable to wear clothes that are made out of materials intended for swimming. Swimsuits are more durable. Regular shorts and shirts may feel a bit heavier than your swimsuit—giving you a more difficult time to swim around the beach.
Extra clothes
Do not forget to bring extra clothes! You wouldn’t want to go home wearing your soaked clothes. Other than being uncomfortable, you might end up getting sick if you do so—especially if you’re going home via an air-conditioned vehicle.
Water Bottle

You need to keep yourself hydrated. All the walking, swimming, plus the heat from the sun will cause you to exert more energy and your body might need more water than it usually does. Bring a jug or bottle of water just in case. Remember not to litter and of course, it’s always a good option to just bring your own water bottle and refill it at your hotel.
Toiletries
Toiletries
It’s always best to bring your own set of toiletries just in case the place you’re staying in doesn’t have.
First Aid Kit

It pays to be always ready. Along with fun and exciting activities, anything can possibly happen. Of course, if you have maintenance medicine you have to bring it. Because pharmacies might not be that accessible from the beach you’re going to.
