World’s Toughest Triathletes to Visit the Philippines for Challenge CamSur on June 2015

Following the success of Challenge Philippines Triathlon held in Subic and Bataan last February 2014, The Challenge Family, owner of the Challenge Global Triathlon Series of Long and Half Distance Triathlon Races, will once again conduct a racing event as part of the expansion of its Asia Challenge brand footprint called Challenge CamSur which will be held on June 14, 2015 in the country.

Its recently held event as was conducted on February of this year showcased to over 729 athletes from many countries of the world counting to 38. The event was open to all participants, regardless of the walk in life, however is most noted for the two crown princes of Bahrain which competed in the event. Among the participants of the event were 25 of the world’s fastest Pro Triathletes, namely Michael Murphy from Australia, and other current world champions who competed for a huge sum of over 2 million Philippine peso prize purse – the largest for its kind of an event in Asia. Showcasing the Philippines for its desired lifestyle and as a sports destination, the broadcast coverage of the 2014 event had a reach of over 82 countries worldwide.

This kind of events, in general, are known around the world to showcase iconic and beautiful destinations. It is once again represented with just announced new Challenge CAMSUR.
