The Philippines: Unspoiled Paradise On Earth in a Time-Lapse Video
There’s 7,507 islands in the Philippines. That means there are also 7,507 reasons why you should visit the Philippines.

Being an archipelago, the Philippines is rich with majestic views of various bodies of waters. Marine life is diverse under Philippine waters. There are various flora and fauna in the jungles of the Philippine mountains. Not only the natural wonders but also the people that make the Philippines a great place to visit.
I know, it may sound a bit exaggerating. To tell the truth, I can’t even describe what treasures the Philippines has to offer because I have not been to all of them. I have gone to a lot of places in the Philippines, but those wondrous sights are just a few compared to what this rich country actually has.
There’s always something new to discover, and when I go there, it leads to another and to another. There are no limits, not even 7, 507 reasons, to what you can discover in the Philippine archipelago.
The Philippines 2015 from Maartendev on Vimeo.
Vimeo user Maartendev tried to capture in a 5-minute video his experience in the Philippines. Three weeks of adventure in the Philippines, but a lifetime worth of experience is what you will see in the time-lapse video.
Maartendev’s use of time-lapse to showcase the Philippines is actually amazing and nostalgic. Time lapse means a series of frames that portrays a period in time, like the rising of the sun until its setting. In this video, you would see three weeks, each and every day a new sight to behold. It gives the feeling of the passing of time, but each day the beauty of nature does not change.
The video begins with a view of the beach, and a woman lying in a hammock contemplating the sight before her. What else do you do in the beach? Anyway, that’s one reason why you need to visit the Philippines. There are endless options of beach resorts in the country, each of them has something unique to offer. The scene changes to the city, where you have that typical sidewalk vendor selling barbecue, isaw, and exotic grilled foods. Then it goes back to the beach, this time with more sights of what is underneath the blue waters of the country.

I don’t mean to brag, but the Philippines is one of the marine biology research centers in the world. Watch the video to convince yourself. Not only turtles and turtle-shaped islands can be found here. Of course there are also various water sports, like kayaking and diving and so much more. Moving up to the mountains, Maartendev also featured the Banaue rice terraces in the north.
To sum, the video is about people and places in the Philippines. From beaches to mountains, and from children to elderly people. These are all the reasons why you need to set foot in the country for once in your life.
