The United States is a huge country with no shortage of interesting cities and places to stay. You can pick out a few of these cities and create a road trip map or fly into one of these cities for the weekend. Whether you are visiting America for the first time or you have lived here your entire life, you will discover that each of these cities offers an amazing experience for the history, music, art, and nature lovers in all of us.

Chicago

Chicago is an ideal vacation destination for both politically and artistically minded individuals. The Chicago Art Institute is a significant center of culture for the city, but do not forget to stop by Millennium Park and the Robie House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Big Apple is among the best cities in the United States. Do not forget to stop by the Empire State Building or Times Square to experience arguably one of the biggest tourist attractions in the world.

Museums make up a significant part of New York City’s artistic heritage and culture. There are also plenty of cheap flights and affordable hotels to stay in and enjoy the city’s sights and sounds.

San Francisco

On the west coast, San Francisco is one of the most recognizable cities. San Fran is most well-known for its large Chinatown and Fisherman’s Wharf.

The cloudy summers and mild winters make it an enjoyable destination all year. Do not forget to stop by the aquarium and to watch out for sea lions on the bay.

Food lovers will enjoy the authentic Creole and Cajun cuisines of New Orleans. The French Quarter is a lovely place to stay, though accommodations can be pricey. It is best to avoid traveling to NOLA during Mardi Gras and the Jazz Festival. The Big Easy is full of street performers and jazz music. Guided walking and cemetery tours set this city apart from others. Guests will love admiring the southern Gothic architecture around town.

Traveling can be expensive, but it is certainly worth spending money on high-quality lodging that will take your trip to the next level.
