Few things are better than hopping on a bus, leaving the city as you head towards the ocean. It is fortunate that Baler is only a few hours away from Manila. You can work all week and easily head towards Baler’s beaches for some well-deserved sun and surf. Some even do it every weekend!

By Land / Car
If you have your own car, the drive is roughly 5 to 6 hours depending on traffic. Just take the North Luzon Expressway from Balintawak and take the SCTEX exit in LaPaz, Tarlac. From there, just stay on the highway until you reach Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija. Once there, drive on the Nueva Ecija-Aurora highway until you reach the border (passing Talavera, Rizal, and Pantabangan). You will drive through Maria Aurora and San Luis before finally reaching Baler.

If you feel like saving your energy for your destination, you can take public transportation. Genesis Transport offers direct trips to Baler from Cubao. They have daily trips that leave every hour from 12:30 AM to 7:30 AM.
